The role of productivity in construction project management and an overview of the factors affecting it

One of the prominent fields of knowledge in the discussion of project management is the field of human resources management, which according to experts, if it cannot be considered the most complex, challenging and important field, it is definitely one of the most important fields. According to researchers, the solution to many of the challenges in human resources management lies in a solution that called manpower performance evaluation, which requires productivity estimation. Therefore, in this research, firstly the issues and challenges of human resources management, especially in construction projects, which perhaps can be said to be more directly influenced by this resource, are discussed and then, the factors affecting productivity from the perspective of researchers are presented. Based on the considerations, it could be mentioned that the most important factors are the safety, physical condition and experience of workers. Finally, the issues are discussed, summarized and concluded.
