The world has gone through three industrial revolutions so far. But the fourth industrial revolution (industry ۴.۰) differs from previous revolutions in terms of the extent, speed and depth of impact on various dimensions of society. According to the studies conducted by the researchers of this article, one of the challenges facing industries, especially the automotive industry as an important industry, is the automation of different parts of these industries to keep pace with the technologies of Industry ۴.۰. Which requires a fundamental change in the infrastructure of these industries. For this reason, in this paper, we introduce a new mathematical model for calculating productivity with technological factor intervention. In this model, to determine the impact of each of these factors on improving productivity, all factors affecting productivity have been analyzed. Also in this study, to investigate the effect of automation on production line productivity, we have compared the overall effectiveness of equipment of two component companies. This comparison done based on data obtained from the automotive parts manufacturing department and related mathematical calculations in Excel software.
