چکیده مقاله:
Fluid flow measurement is widely used in industries, including thermal power plants. One of the most common methods of measuring fluid flow is"Differential Pressure" method. This method works on the principle of partially obstructing the flow, by means of some devices like orifice plate or venture tube, in a pipe. This creates a difference in the static pressure between the upstream and downstream side of the device. This pressure difference is measured and used to determine the flow rate, based on Bernoulli's equation. If the fluid is gaseous, the gas density can vary significantly during operation, by change in working pressure and temperature. As a result, the differential pressure produced by the flowmeter and flow measurement can also vary significantly during operation.In this paper a steam flow compensation method for steam flow measurement is proposed, based on IAPWSIF۹۷۱ calculations. Using this proposed method, the steam flow correction function block is created in MAPCS that is MAPNA native control system and then the performance of this block is evaluated by making changes in steam pressure and temperature
