چکیده مقاله:

The rapid growth of nanotechnology toward the development of nanoparticle drugs holds good promise for improving cancer treatment approaches. Nano-medical products are a good opportunity to achieve complex and multi-purpose targeted strategies. Today, nanoparticles have numerous applications in various branches of science. In recent years the role of nanotechnology in modern medicine has been reported frequently. Their various clinical applications, such as drug transporters, gene transfer to tumors, and imaging agents have been analyzed. A wide range of inorganic nanomaterials based on organic compounds, lipids or Glycans as well as synthetic polymers have been used. To improve the bioavailability of cancer drugs, nanoparticles are designed for optimal size and specifications to increase their circulation time in the bloodstream. They are also able to carry their loaded active drugs to cancer cells by selectively using the unique pathophysiology of tumors, such as their enhanced permeability and retention effect and the tumor microenvironment. Multipurpose nanoparticles and multiplexes are now being actively studied and are on the horizon as the next generation of nanoparticles, facilitating personalized and tailored cancer treatment.
