چکیده مقاله:

این مقاله با استفاده از روش تحلیل روایتی به بررسی رقابت گفتمانی پیرامون قرارداد هسته ای ایران در رسانه های آمریکایی و انگلیسی می پردازد. در واقع، هدف از این بررسی، شناسایی عناصر روایتی است که موجب موفقیت یا شکست این سیاست خارجی در آمریکا شده است و اینگونه استدلال می شود که موفقیت و شکست یک سیاست خارجی نتیجه یک برساخت اجتماعی از روایت ها است. این پژوهش روش نوآورانه ای را برای تحلیل روایتی به عنوان یک روش تحلیل گفتمانی در بررسی رقابت های گفتمانی پیرامون این برساخت ها پیشنهاد می کند. بر مبنای این دیدگاه نشان داده می شود که روایت های موفقیت و شکست از ساختارهای مشابهی، اما محتواهای متفاوت، پیروی می کنند و عناصر کلیدی مانند بستر، شخصیت پردازی مثبت/منفی فردی و جمعی تصمیم گیرندگان و طرح کلی موفقیت یا شکست و شناسایی فرد یا افراد مسئول برای سرزنش/تشویق را شامل می شود. این مقاله بر اهمیت نحوه بیان روایت ها به عنوان دلیل سلطه یا حاشیه نشینی آنها در گفتمان سیاسی تاکید دارد.
