چکیده مقاله:

In this research, the effect of the addition of industrial grade carbon back (CB) on the mechanical response of CB/ polyester based nanocomposites of ۰-۱۵ wt% of filler content was examined. The CB particles were dispersed within the polyester phase using a high shear. The quality of energy absorption, impact resistance and tensile behavior of the fabricated parts were studied. Thermal analysis was used to the better understanding of the obtain findings. The results indicated that the nanocomposites reinforced with ۱۰ wt% of CBs showed the greatest ability in toughness. Moreover, the addition of fillers showed an increase in the elastic modulus while a decrease in the tensile strength was indicated. The results reveals that, however, the addition of excess amount fillers adversely contribute to the overall performance of the fabricated parts.
