چکیده مقاله:

In this study, the test is performed in curved ENF. The specimen is loaded in convex side on mode II. The geometry of the sample is non-symmetric. Thus, the crack is not in the middle of the thickness. Specimen are made of glass fiber / epoxy resin with different initial crack length with the same non-symmetric thickness. The three-point bending test is performed to obtain the crack propagation. Then the Strain Energy Release Rate was calculated from experimental results. Then for numerical simulation, Extended Finite Element Method (XFEM) was used and the results were compared in pairs and it was observed that these results are closely and significantly related to each other.. In addition, the simulation or numerical or approximate analysis of these samples has been done using ABAQUS software and version ۶-۱۴-۲ onwards, which has undergone serious changes.
