چکیده مقاله:

Disasters are recognized as one of the most significant risks that can severely impact infrastructures, such as water systems. Water utilities provide essential lifeline functions to communities and individuals, but are often at risk when natural disasters strike.The purpose of this study is to Determining and weighing the most important criteria for selecting water resources in natural disasters (floods and earthquakes).A systematic review of reputable databases was conduct and effective criteria and sub-criteria’s to select alternative water sources in disasters were extracted. The results were sent to Specialists and experts and main criteria and sub-criteria’s were determined. The selected criteria's were weighted with multi-criteria decision model (Network Analysis Process technique).Results showed ۹ main criteria and ۴۴ sub-criteria’s. Main criteria include Environmental factors, Economic factors, Regional geographical factors, General characteristics of water treatment system, Technical characteristics of Water treatment systems, General characteristics of water resources, Non-toxic chemical of water sources, Toxic chemicals of water sources, Physical and biological characteristics of Water resources.This study help researchers, managers, decision-makers and disaster relief organizations to select the most appropriate source based on the geographical, cultural, social and economic characteristics of the disaster area.
