چکیده مقاله:

The present study followed a process approach to translation and investigated the impact of peer feedback on the translation of Iranian EFL students. The 90 students majoring English translation in the Islamic Azad University of Shiraz. They were reduced to 60 participants through a multiple-choice cloze test (TCT) extracted from Anton Chekhov's short stories and their translations by Stepanian in 2013. The learners were divided into 30 females and 30 males groups. The Learners were within 24 to 32 years old. Tests used in this study were translation cloze test (TCT) and translation production test (TPT) as pretest and posttest. This study revealed students’ insights on peer feedback in improving translation skills. English Translation students were evaluated based on four components of translation scale (Schiaffino & Zearo's, 2003), that is, Accuracy, Style, Grammar and formatting. There was a significant difference between the means of the pretest and posttest of the translation. The null-hypothesis was rejected. Thus, peer feedback had a significant effect on translation quality of EFL learners in the experimental group.
