چکیده مقاله:
4.4 di-phenylmethane diisocyanate (MDI) is the superior diisocyanate for the production of particleboard.1 This compound has a low vapor pressure at normal temperature and therefore increases the safety of its use.۱At normal temperature, commercially polymer MDI is a dark reddish brown liquid with a viscosity of 400 cp, which can be stored for up to 12 months.2 MDI-BP is a very moisturizer and should keep it containers closed.3The reaction of MDI with hydroxyl groups is a constituent of wood to form the urethane bond between the wood and the adhesion line, and its reaction with water in wood to form polyurethanes is a major reaction that contributes to the function of this compound as a glue.4 The effect of temperature and pH of the adhesive mixture on its life in ready-to-use mode is given in the following two graphs. ۵
