چکیده مقاله:
Multi-component reactions are refered to one-pot processes, during which three or more substances are combined to generate a complex structure.1 These reactions are highly efficient, quick, simple, clean, low cost and without side products.2Pyridines are an important class of heterocyclic compounds and widely used in different fields.They are shown various pharmaceutical activites. For example; anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial and anti-HIV3 properties have been detected for pyridine derivatives.Zeolites are a group of crystalline and porous aluminosilicate compoands and have a tri-dimentional tetrahedral lattice constructed from SiO4 and AlO4 that create holes and canals in the structure of zeolite.4Herein, we describe a clean and efficient method for the synthesis of 2,4,6-triarylpyridines from aldehydes, acetophenones and ammonium acetate in the presence of zeolite beta as a reasable catalyst.
