چکیده مقاله:
Considerable attention has focused on the synthesis of new hetroacyclic ligands containing azo groups because of their role in the development of coordination chemistry as well as optical materials, dyes and so on.1 Schiff base derived from the reaction of salicylaldehyde with primary amines represent a versatile series of ligand. In attention to importance of these compounds many literatures have been published in this field. In this work we want to report the synthesis and characterization of new type of hexadentate schiff base ligand. First we synthesis (2-2-2-aminobenzylideneamino)ethylimino)methyl)benzenamine and use to this tetraamine ligand and 2-hydroxybenzaldehyde to prepare new potentially hexadentate (N4O2) Schiff base ligand. Also this Schiff base was characterized by 1H and 13C NMR, elemental analysis, MS and IR spectroscopy (Fig 1).
