Clinical skills are the central part of the nursing profession. E-learning is one of the new education methods; Therefore, considering the importance of learning clinical skills, it is necessary to examine the impact of using e-learning in learning clinical nursing skills. This study's findings can show the effect of using the e-learning method in learning clinical nursing skills. Methods: This review study was conducted in 1399. The keywords e-learning, nursing, Clinical Skills, e-learning, nursing, and clinical skills were searched in Pubmed, google scholar, Magiran, and SID databases in June 2020. Of the articles found, only articles related to e-learning and nursing were reviewed. The articles' information was entered into the endnote, then the title and summary of the articles were examined, and related articles were found among the searched results. Finally, the relevant data of the articles were included in the study. Results: Of the 13 articles reviewed, seven were in Iran, 2 in Canada, 1 in Australia, and the rest in Europe. E-learning in 30.76% of articles as an effective way to complete traditional methods of training and improving clinical skills of nurses, in 30.76% of articles for reasons such as ease of use and unlimited access to a more desirable method than traditional education, in 15.38% of articles e-learning for some reason Such as technical problems and higher priority of face-to-face education is unknown. In 15.38% of traditional education articles, e-learning is a more desirable method in nursing education. Also, 15.38% of the articles recommend combined education. Conclusion: Due to the importance of clinical skills in the nursing profession, it is necessary to use appropriate methods or methods to learn, repeat, and update them. At present, traditional education methods do not have the necessary efficiency to achieve this goal fully, so it is recommended to use combined education to better establish what has been learned in the traditional method and repeat and update clinical skills. The challenge that lies ahead is the complete replacement of the traditional teaching method with e-learning, which requires further research and consideration of barriers such as computer literacy, nurses' acceptance, and adequate equipment.
