چکیده مقاله:

Background: Breast carcinoma is one of the most common neoplasms in women and is leading cause of cancer-related deaths worldwide. Obesity is a medical condition in which excess body fat has accumulated to an extent that it may have a negative effect on health, it is now so common within the world's poplulation. Overweight or obese women are at increased risk of developing postmenopausal breast cancer. Women with breast cancer, who are obese, have poorer survival than women with breast cancer, who are not obese.Therefor, the purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between obesity and breast cancer. Method: We searched Pubmed, Google scholar, SID, Cochrane and Iranmedex databases until April 2019 with impact obesity and breast cancer keywords. By searching these databases, only 20 articles were founde in Pubmed and 70 articles were found in Google scholar. From 90 articles with investigating title we exclude 35 articles and with reading abstract we exclude 18 articles. Finally we include 8 articles in to the our study. Findings: articles showed that overwight has an impotent role on breast cancer and obesity is a risk factor for breast neoplasms.Prevent of obesity should be a major health issue and a should be goal to delay or prevent some kinds of breast cancer. There are some ways that can helpobese women to lost weight such as recommending dietary, doing exercise and lifestyle interventions.It also seems necessary to prevent obesity and its complications by implementing an intervention program for obesity control as well as implementing breast cancer screening programs in overweight and obese women.Conclusion:According to the results, overweight and obesity are associated with a higher risk of breast cancer before and after menopause. It is suggested that weight loss through a highfiberdiet, including fruits and vegetables, lower fat intake, as well as daily walking and moderate physical activity, reduce the risk of breast cancer in women.
