E-Learning: An Overview

Digital Technology is the most important reason behind instructional revolution. Training delivered on a computer, known as computer-based training or CBT, has been around for more than thirty years. The focus in this paper is on E-learning. So, different dimensions of E-learning such as the definition, features, and types of E-learning, the learning processes, multimedia principles, and cultural issues in E-learning, generations of distance education technology, and what teachers need in order to promote meaningful learning with technology are illuminated.
