چکیده مقاله:

A simulation is a computer program that helps in creating a real-time abstract model of a process. Usingsimulations, the costs of conducting experiments have come down, and this has achieved flexibility inoptimizing parameters and durations. Electrodeposition is a process that uses electrical current to reducedissolved metal cations from the anode so that they form a metal coating on the cathode. The centralgoverning equation used for this Model was mass species conservation. COMSOL, the finite elementsoftware, was used to solve the governing equations. The Model simulated to predict coating thicknessunder different conditions, such as varying current density, concentration, and deposition durations.Electrolyte current density and temperature are important parameters for an electrodeposition system asthey dictate the overall efficiency of the flow of ions in the electrolyte system. Thus, the optimizationof these parameters is necessary. In this manuscript, we report a mathematical model's development topredict zinc's electrodeposition on stainless steel alloy in an electrochemical cell with zinc and stainlesssteel 304 as the electrodes and zinc sulfate as the electrolyte.
