Recreation of The Persian Garden on City Scale to Design a Sustainable City

Persian garden ( since 7th century ) is rooted in Iranian culture and art, and according to its mainconstituent elements such as green places, trees, and water, it creates a balance next to artificial buildings,which in addition to its environmental effects, will achieve appropriate psychological standards for Citizenstoo. This paper intends to study the characteristics and factors affecting energy sustainability in Persiangardens and generalize it to the urban scale and using these parameters as approaches to design cities containplaces such as plaza with maximum ability to achieve energy, preserve the environment and create a beautifulurban landscape. Therefore, analysing and revitalizing the Persian garden, not only by its physicalappearance, but also by adapting it to the needs of today's humans, solutions for designing a sustainable citywill be achieved.
