Results and experiments show that conventional methods in separation processes can hardly reduce the oil concentration to 1% ofthe initial concentration and, on the other hand, they cannot remove oil droplets below 20 microns. One of the new approaches ismembrane technology.. Therefore, it can be said that the treatment of petroleum effluents is one of the most pressing environmentalproblems that need to be addressed in the oil fields. Among the membrane methods, ultrafiltration processes are used to treatwastewater contaminated with oil and oil. In this paper, in addition to reviewing the performance of ultrafiltration membranes inthe field of petroleum effluent treatment, the performance and modeling of a hollow fiber structure membrane of PEI, PEI polymerin hydrocarbon effluent treatment was investigated. The use of the Hermia model for cake layer formation on the membrane showsagreement between the model and the experimental results and is the main cause of the cake clogging mechanism of the cakelayer.The maximum amount of moisture absorption flux for the desired membrane6.7×10-7m3/m2.s At the fluid flowrate is 270 mL/min. The membrane produced is approximately 99% constant due to having smaller surface holes afterapproximately 100 minutes. . The expanded membrane has an average cavity size of 44 nm and an effective surfaceporosity of 998 m-1.The results of the oil refining test showed that the membrane was present due to its presenceNanometer cavities have an oil recovery rate of over 98% after 100 minutes.
