Application of Axisymmetric Assumption in Engineering Sciences

By examining various issues of engineering sciences, we can realize the increasing application of the axisymmetric assumption. In this research, sufficient information is provided for readers to be able to use this assumption correctly for any model prone to considering the axisymmetric assumption. The results of this study have shown that the two-dimensional model is more efficient than the three-dimensional model, both in terms of time and simplicity. Also, the studied samples didn't have any errors according to the validation and proved the efficiency of this assumption in all cases of analysis in engineering sciences with the required conditions. The desired geometric simplifications must be done carefully and correctly so that the outputs do not have errors
