Logotherapy is a decades-old psychotherapeutic approach. The driving force behind logotherapy is the idea that human beings are most motivated by a search for meaning, indicating that the meaning of life is the biggest question on our minds and the biggest stressor on our psyches. The purpose of this research is the determination of the effectiveness of logotherapy Training on the emotional regulation of earthquake affected women of Sarpol Zahab. This research has been conducted pretest and posttest semi experimentally with a control group. Statistical society of this research includes all earthquake-affected women of Shanghai Khaledi village of Sarpol Zohab. We selected 30 women using available sampling. They were randomly categorized into 2 experiment and control groups consisting of 15 individuals. To measure the emotion regulation variable, I used the Emotion Questionnaire of Garnefski, Kraaij, and Spinhoven (2001). Logotherapy training (As independent research variable) was done in 10 sessions and each session lasted for 1 and a half hours for 2 weeks. Pretests were performed for both experimental and control groups. Then the experimental group was trained by the independent variable but the control group did not receive any intervention. Finally, we performed a posttest for both groups and the data was analyzed by using SPSS-22 software, descriptive statistical methods, and inferential statistics method of multivariate covariance analysis. The results indicated that logotherapy training impacts emotional regulation and its parameters.
