Development of Acoustic Emission Technology For Condition Monitoring and Diagnosis Of Journal Bearing

Utilization of Acoustic Emission Technology (AET) has been widely spread over the past frothy years in different industrial application such as railways, petrochemical, power generation together with air transport and oil industries. Detecting the incipient failure in machines is the distinctive advantageous of AE over the other none destructive technique methods which makes is favourable monitoring tool in aforementioned industries. This paper will review physical disciplines behind the AET as well as discussing the different case study in which, the AE technology has been well applied.
