چکیده مقاله:
In this work, metal-organic framework Cu3(BTC)2 [BTC = 1,3,5-benzenetricarboxylate] (commonlyknown as MOF-199 or HKUST-1), is used as an effective electrocatalyst for hydrogen evolution reaction.The HKUST-1 is synthesized by a green method at room temperature without any toxic agents or organicsolvents. The physical characterization of the solid catalyst is achieved by using a variety of differenttechniques, including X-ray powder diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, thermo-gravimetricanalysis, and nitrogen physisorption measurements. The electrochemical results have shown that theHKUST-1 nanoparticles as a non-platinum electrocatalyst exhibited favorable catalytic activity forhydrogen evolution reaction.
