چکیده مقاله:
In this paper, a mathematical modeling is performed for a heat sink to determine the optimum dimensionless thickness of the fins using 8 different types of cooling Nanofluids. The flow crossing the fins is considered laminar and fully developed. The effect of volume fraction, nanoparticles diameter and average temperature of Nanofluids flow isinvestigated on optimization of the fins dimensionless thickness and also convection heat transfer coefficient. Two objective optimizations are investigated to optimize dimensionless thickness and heat transfer coefficient simultaneously for volume fractions and nanoparticles diameter. The results showed that the most optimizeddimensionless thickness of fin is obtained for Nanofluid of copper/water and the least amount is obtained for Nanofluid of aluminum/water. It is also observed that the range of 3.65% to 3.95% is obtained for the optimum volume fraction in the used nanofluids. Also the optimum nano particle size is calculated around 43 nanometer for all nanofluids
