چکیده مقاله:
In this work we used circular dichroism spectra to investigate the stuctural chanes of the BSA molecule with the addition of novel vanadium IV and copper II schiff base complexes as dye . Circular dechroism spectroscopy CD is the differential absorption of left and right handed circulary polarized light. it can be used to help determine the structure of macromolecules including the secondary structure of proteins and the handedness of DNA serum albumin is the most abundant plasma protein in humans and other mammals. albumin is essential for maintaining the osmotic pressure needed for proper distribution of body fluids between intravascular compartments and body tissues. it also acts as a plasma carrier by non-specifically binding several drugs including antibiotics , antihistamines, hydrophobic steroid hormones and as a transport protein for hemin and fatty acid . in recent years studies have been performed on the interatcion of metal complexes metal ions and schiff base ligands with albumins . our results indicated that the interatiction of schiff base complexes with BSA leads to changes in the secondary structure and conformational change of the protein.
