Some biological characteristics of Blenny, Istiblennius pox

In the present study, some biological characteristics including condition factor,morphometric and meristic properties were investigated from Oct 2010 to Sept 2011in two marine habitats i.e. Draya Bozorg and Lipar. Sampling was carried outmonthly by net with mesh of 1 mm. the condition factor was significantly higher inmale fish of Draya Bozorg (P<0.05) while there was no significant differences in bothsexes in Lipar station. Hepatosomatic index of females in Draya Bozorg wasapparently higher than male fish (P<0.05). This index did not show difference in bothsexes of Lipar station. Also, the sampled fish from Draya Bozorg station had higherintestinal index compared to fish samples from Lipar station.
