چکیده مقاله:

In the past, zoonotic parasite transmitted from fish, mostly was limited in low andmiddle income countries. But today, due to the rise in international markets, andimproved transportation systems, population growth, and changes in eating habits, itis evident in most developed countries. In fact, in most developed countries, zoonoticdiseases transmitted from animal meat, such as trichinellosis and cysticercosis, arefamiliar. However, little consideration has been paid to parasitic zoonosis transmittedfrom fish. For this reason, the diseases, with many serious illnesses are confused suchas liver and colon cancer. Even in some Asian countries, like the Philippines, aTrematodes species has been reported as the most common cause of death in recentyears. Zoonotic diseases mainly caused by the worms, including more than a dozenspecies of trematodes such Heterophys heterophys and Clonorchis sinensis, a speciesof cestodes, Dyphlobatrrium latum, and four species of nematodes such as Anisakissimplex and Gnathostoma spinigerum. Meantime, a species of trematodes(Heterophys heterophys), and two species of nematodes, Capilaria philipinensis andDioctophyme renal have been reported in Iran. This contamination further are due tothe consumption of raw and semi- cooked fish and wrong strategies in smoked andsalt- fish preparation.
