چکیده مقاله Study of some biological characteristics of Tuini fish (Cyprinidae: Capoeta damascina40T)40T 40Tin40T Kordan River of Alborz Province

This study aimed to investigate some biological characteristics including relativelength gut, condition factor and gonadosomatic index, of Tuni fish (Capoetadamascina) of Kordan River, Alborz Province in summer and winter. In total 138specimens were collected from three stations (upstream, middle and downstream) byelectrofishing. Based on results, the range of length and weight of specimens insummer were 23.2 ± 4.05 cm and 171/49 ± 53/04 g and in winter 13.1 ± 3.79 cm and31.88 ± 11.31 g, respectively48T. 48TRelative intestine length (RLG) was calculated 2.2reflecting herbivorous feeding strategy of C. damascina. The condition factor wasobtained 1.37 as its indicator nutritional status. The results showed that this specieshave the highest gonadosomatic index (GSI) in late winter.
