This study was conducted to survey the phenotypic plasticity in five populations ofMosul bleak (Alburnus mossulensis). Hence, a total number of 219 speciemens weresampled from Gamasiab, Karoon, Kashkan, Khersan and Sepidbarg rivers usingelectrofishing equipment. The left side of specimens were photograped using a digitalcamera with six megapixle resolation. Then, the outline curve was drawed usingTpsDig2 and resampled with 150 point in equal distances on 2D pictures. TPS datawas converted to a readable file for EPA analysis in EFAWIN software. EPA analysiswas carried out with choosing 17 shape harmonics (with two constants and fourcoefficients per harmonic) and removing non-shape data using EFAWIN software.Data were analysed by PCA and CVA/Manova analysis using Past software. Theresults showed a significant differences between populations, but Sepidbarg one interms of body shape (P<0.05), dividing studied populations into three groups. Basedon differences in environmental charactrestics of populations habitats, the observedmorphological difference can be as result of their adaption to different environmentalconditions.
