دکتر علی محمد روستا، عضو هیات علمی دانشگاه یاسوج با مرتبه دانشیاری ( مهندسی عمران-سازه) می باشند. ایشان داور بیش از 10 مجله ملی وبین المللی و دارای بیش از 35 مقاله ژورنالی وکنفرانسی می باشند. با بیش از 20 پژوهشگر مختلف همکاری مستقیم علمی داشته و همچنین مجری3 طرح پژوهشی خاتمه یافته نیز هستند. مقالات منتشر شده ایشان بیشتر در موضوعات تحلیل و مدلسازی لرزه ای سازه ها، استهلاک انرژی، استفاده از میراگرها و کنترل سازه ها در برابر زلزله تهیه و منتشر شده است. مقاطع تحصیلی ایشان عبارت است از: دکتری مهندسی عمران -سازه دانشگاه تهران؛ کارشناسی ارشد مهندسی عمران -سازه دانشگاه شیراز؛ کارشناسی مهندسی عمران- عمران دانشگاه سمنان؛ دیپلم ریاضی فیزیک دبیرستان نمونه علامه طباطبائی گچساران
