As a mentor in ASCE Collaborate, he actively contributes to the professional growth of young engineers. He has been trained as a professional seismic rehabilitation engineer by the Faculty of the International Institute of Earthquake Engineering and Society.

Driven by a strong research-oriented mindset, Reza focuses on critical challenges affecting human life, particularly in seismic resilience. His approach involves analyzing existing solutions and developing innovative strategies for enhancing structural safety. Over the past 15 years, he has worked as a structural designer and seismic rehabilitation engineer on prestigious projects, including high-rise buildings, bridges, non-structural components, and various building structures.

Reza is also passionate about education and knowledge sharing, which has led him to author several specialized books on seismic rehabilitation. His mission is to equip engineers with the necessary expertise to become seismic rehabilitation professionals. His books are designed to bridge the gap between research and practical application, ensuring that engineers gain both theoretical depth and practical skills to excel in the field.

His ultimate goal is to advance seismic science and make it accessible, especially to underprivileged regions, by transferring technical knowledge through his writings.
