چکیده مقاله:

In the present study 148 malted barley cultivars were screened for three photosynthetic traits including Main spike length, peduncle length, and awn length, during two crop years in the area of southeastern IRAN. Marker/traits associations were investigated using the TASSEL3.0.Polymorphic information contents for most markers were higher than 0.25. The PCoA analysis showed two main subgroups. In the panel, it was observed that LD varied along each chromosome with regions of high and low LD. A total of 16 significant associated markers for the traits wereidentified in both normal and stress environments. Two QTLs were identified on 5H in normal environment for MSL. In stress environment, a significant genomic regions were found on 2H.Peduncle length (PL) in normal environment was affected by two putative regions on 5H, one ofthese at 5.554 cM was previously reported for Total Protein Content in barley. A putative QTL region on 4H was found in normal environment for AL, which was previously reported as Heading Days QTL. Detecting QTLs for some yield-related traits, such as main spike length, pedunclelength and awn length in both experimental conditions can be used for improving high-yield resistance of barley genotypes to drought.
