Mild recyclable basic ionic liquid catalyzed preparation isoxazolo[4,3- e]indazole under solvent-free conditions

The mild basic ionic liquid 1,8-diazabicyclo[5.4.0]-undec-7-en-8-ium acetate catalyzed two-component synthesis of isoxazolo[4,3-e]indazole derivatives reactions of 1-Metyl-5-nitro-1H-indazole and various 2-phenylacetonitrile under solvent-free conditions. Simple procedure, high yields, short reaction time and environmentally benign method are advantages of this protocol. The inexpensive and non-toxic ionic liquids can be reused several times without noticeable loss of their activities. The mentioned ionic liquids show priority relative to other catalysts in the literature.
