چکیده مقاله:
This study attempted to investigate the characteristic of an ideal English language teacher as perceived by Iranian English language teachers. For this purpose, an interview was administered by 30 English teachers at Azad Karaj university and Jahad Daneshgahi institute in Iran. The data were taken by interview, and then analyzed by qualitative. The finding of the study indicated that an ideal English teacher have to own quality such as mastery of the target language, good knowledge of pedagogy and the use of particular techniques and methods as well as a good personality
