A PROPOSED SYSTEM OF RENEWABLE RESOURCES SELECTION FOR FOSSIL FUELS REPLACEMENT

Life s energy needs are increasing day by day, and renewable energies are the future of power generation because of their environmental friendliness and reduction in fossil fuel content. In this paper, a renewable resource system that includes wind turbines and solar cells and a storage battery is proposed. This system includes an energy management unit for determining the type of renewable resources and it is designed to supply electrical energy. If an energy from renewable resources is added, the extra energy is stored in the battery, and if the energy is insufficient, the battery will supply the necessary energy. When the energy is sufficient, the battery will not charge. The power management unit is designed to optimally utilize the appropriate power resources based on the sun and weather.
