Introduction: Milk is one of the most important and valuable foods among different foods. Milk consumption in Iran is lower than the world standard. The purpose of this study was to investigate the consumption of milk and dairy products in primary school students in Shooshtar city in 1998. Methods: In this descriptive cross-sectional study, 1247 students from 4 elementary schools in Shooshtar were selected by cluster random sampling. Students demographic data were collected using demographic questionnaire and student breakfast status data using FFQ questionnaire and Results were analyzed by SPSS 21 software. Results: According to the findings, the rate of breakfast before going to school was 87.6% (1092) Of these, 68.3 percent had breakfast and cheese and 3.5 percent yogurt and only 22.1 percent of students consumedmilk. Also, 7.1 percent of students used other foods for breakfast. Conclusion: The results show that most students consume breakfast before going to school, but a small number use milk. Given the importance of milk consumption at this age, more attention is suggested to educate students on milk consumption.
