چکیده مقاله:
Background and Aim : Endometriosis is a chronic estrogen-dependent disorder that is considered to bethe presence of endometrial tissue outside the uterine cavity. Chronic pelvic pain, dysmenorrhea, dysparonychia, dyspnea, chronic fatigue, and infertility are the most common symptoms that can have aprofound effect on people s quality of life. The prevalence of this disease is unclear, although it is estimatedthat in 10% of women it affects fertility and about 50% of infertile women. Endometriosis rarely developsmalignant deformities; however, individuals at risk for ovarian, breast, and other cancers as well as the riskof autoimmune diseases are at increased risk. In this article, the patterns presented by Introduce the wisdomof traditional Iranian medicine as a medical school for the diagnosis and treatment of endometriosisMethods : This article is a review study and data collection based on search of clinical articles publishedin scientific databases such as Academic Jihad, Silvica, pubmed and google scholar without time limit andgynecology and endometriosis reference books with The keywords are used. Finally, the collected data areanalyzed, compared and concluded.Results : In Iranian traditional medicine sources, various herbs based on their unique therapeutic propertiescan be used in the treatment of endometriosis. In this study, several herbs and their use are mentioned.Conclusion : By utilizing the ability of modern medicine to accurately diagnose and treat endometriosis,traditional medicine capacities can be used to treat the underlying causes of endometriosis. A combinationof modern and traditional medicine in the diagnosis and treatment of endometriosis in clinical research issuggested to promote women s health.
