چکیده مقاله:

The incidence of right sided infective endocarditis is on the rise due to the increased number of patients using central venous lines, port catheters and hemodialysis. Pulmonary valve infective endocarditis extremely rare, especially in structurally normal hearts. The case reported here had predisposing factors such as severe congenital pulmonary valve stenosis.A 39 year old female with no history of cardiac work up was referred with fever, chills, and dyspnea. In her fever work up, she had positive blood culture for streptococcus and in her transthoracic echocardiography she had thickened and dome shaped pulmonary valve concurrent with severe infundibular hypertrophy and dynamic obstruction in subpulmonic region( total peak gradient:150mmHg, 55mmHg was dynamic subvalvular PS), there are multiple mobile, multilobulated masses in main PA and origin of left pulmonary artery, largest one size:15mm*8mm), suggestive of vegetations
