چکیده مقاله:

Visible light communication (VLC) with high capacity wireless connectivity and low latency has emerged as an alternative to acoustic communications for underwater applications. The major impairment of VLC underwater is fluctuations of the average received intensity, known as underwater optical turbulence (UOT), as a result of salinity and temperature fluctuations. Lognormal (LN) probability density functions (PDF) was shown to match the statistical distribution of underwater fading coefficient for weak turbulence. Considering Lognormal with different link distances and water properties such as temperature and salinity level, the implementation of diffusion adaptive networks by the using of VLC technology has been investigated in this paper. The contribution of this paper is the presentation of the exact values of underwater VLC channel coefficients and their effects on the performance of the diffusion adaptive networks.
