Dynamics of the droplets on superhydrophobic inclined microstructured surfaces is studied using numerical simulations. The governing equations and important dimensionless numbers are described and numerical algorithm is explained. The validation of the numerical algorithm is performed by simulation of the droplet movement attached to an inclined smooth surface. Then droplet movement on the micro structured surface is numerically simulated on both the smoothed and microstructured surfaces in the same conditions. Comparison of the results shows effect of microstructured coating on the surface hydrophobicity properties.
