INVESTIGATING THE FACTORS AFFECTING ADDICTION IN PATIENTS REFERRING TO ADDICTION TREATMENT CENTERS IN SHIRAZ, 1398

Background and Aim : Addiction is a social disease that has physiological and physiological complications, and treatment can only be successful for as long as it does not address the causes of the patient s tendency, and the addict goes back to drug use. Therefore, the aim of this study was to determine the effective factors on addiction recurrence in adolescent addicts in Shiraz in 1398.Methods : This cross-sectional descriptive-analytic study was conducted on 255 drug addicts undergoing recurrence. The questionnaire was distributed among individuals and then collected through spss.16 software.Results : Research findings show that 35% of people have experienced one-off addiction treatment. The reason for the return of majority was psychological problems (63.76%). Factors such as unemployment 32.54, poverty 54.87, inappropriate relationships with other family members 43.09, and the presence of 23.54 friends were very important in returning to addiction. And factors such as education level p = 0.006, age p = 0.007 and number of households p = 0.006 had no role in addiction recurrence.Conclusion : According to the results of this study, a series of factors, such as family, cultural, economic, and ... causes the people to return to addiction. Therefore, extensive studies should be conducted on these causes.
