چکیده مقاله:

Background and Aim : The aim of the present research was comparison of strategies of emotion regulation, Problem-Solving Strategies and Resiliency in Substance Abusers and Normal Subjects.Methods : It is a case-control study. The statistical society of the study includes Substance Abusers and Normal Subjects in Azarshahr city. The subjects of the study were 100 (50 Substance Abusers and 50 Normal Subjects) that chosen by multistge sampling method. The instruments used in the study, were the emotion regulation, Problem-Solving strategies and Resiliency questionnaire. The obtained data were analyzed by with MANOVA Test.Results : The results showed that there is significant difference in variables of strategies of emotion regulation , Problem-Solving Strategies and Resiliency in Substance Abusers and Normal Subjects, This means that addicts have fewer emotional cognitive tuning and less problem-solving methods than normal people. The results also showed that there is a significant difference between the resiliency scores in the two groups of substance dependent and normal people.Conclusion : Regard to that Using better cognitive emotion control strategies, Learning problem solving methods and increasing resilience , decrease temptation of using drug , It is suggested that the necessary measures be taken to train the strategies of cognitive emotion regulation, to teach problem solving methods and to promote resilience in people who are dependent on materials
