Comparative study the effects of ICT on Environmental Sustainability in MENA and Latin America Countries

This study is trying to investigate as a comparative study the effects of ICT on Environmental Sustainability in 26 MENA and Latin America countries using the panel-data method in the period of 2005 to 2016.The results show that ICT, human capital, health expenditures and squared GDP per capita have a positive effects and GDP per capita has a negative effect on quality of the environment in MENA countries. So, the results for Latin America countries indicate that ICT, human capital and health expenditures have a positive effects and GDP per capita and squared GDP per capita have a negative effect on quality of the environment. Also, the results of the study show that Environmental Kuznets Curve is approved in the MENA countries and does not comply in Latin America countries.
