چکیده مقاله:

It is empirically obvious that the more positive the attitude toward hypnosis is, the easier we can induce hypnotic state, and there are some findings supporting it. However, in previous studies, attitudes towards hypnosis were measured by subjective measures such as questionnaires. The attitude toward hypnosis has an ambivalent aspect that fluctuates between curiosity and fear, so it was assumed that there are many who react consciously in the former and non-consciously in the latter. Therefore, we developed Hypnosis ST-IAT (Single Target Implicit Association Test) that can measure non-conscious attitude toward hypnosis by objective experimental method (Fukui-Oura, 2017; Oura-Fukui, 2018). The research conducted by using hypnosis ST-IAT showed that the non-conscious attitude to hypnosis is uncorrelated with the conscious attitude, while most of those consciously positive to hypnosis have an unconsciously negative attitude. It was also found that a positive attitude towards hypnosis shows a significant positive correlation with hypnotizability (Fukui et al., 2018)Therefore, in our presentation, some more data are added to confirm the reproducibility of the above findings, to reveal the details of the measurement method of the non-conscious attitude toward hypnosis, and to carry out the demonstration of hypnotic ST-IAT. In addition, we would like to provide the applicants with our experimental programs and its technique of how to use it.
