چکیده مقاله:
Chronic pain refers to the pain that remainslonger than three months, unless medication or interventions are taken. This kind of pain is disastrous especially in cancer patients.Patients suffering fromcancerthat engage with metastasis to the bone, have more unpleasant sensation of the pain. Then, the use of some approaches to deal withthese situations is so significant.Physicians have proposed many techniques and interventions, such as nerve blocks to heal them.In overall metastatic situations, high doses of opioids might be needed.Surely, these medications have many disadvantages as like addiction, toleration, apnea, hemodynamic disability, etc.Hypnosis has been introduced as a safe, beneficial, and feasible approach.Hypnotic trance can dissociate patient from his/her disastrous, pain, and unpleasant emotions. Moreover, hypnosis can help the patient to tolerate side effects of chemotherapyand radiotherapy.Trance and meditation actthrough altering brain state via heated imagination. These imaginations result in neuro transmitters release probablyleading to pain relief. In this presentation, techniques of hypnotherapy for pain reduction in cancer patients are going to be discussed. For better understanding, some simulations and modeling will be introduced.
