Environment Safe Dye Carriers

The extracts of Dill, Tarragon and spearmint vegetables were obtained by steam distillation. A small amount of extracted oil was used as carrier for dyeing polyester fabric using Gum of fruit tress (plum, cherry,….) ad a dispersing agent. The efficiency of these natural carriers were compared with a commercial carrier using Transil navy blue BGL disperse dye. The carriers and dispersing agent used are Biodegradable and have no environment problems. The efficiency of these natural carries are nearly the same as a commercial carrier used in this investigation.
