determination of susceptibility level of german cockroach to cypromethrin in different hospitals in sari

Background: Non-chemical control and chemical control are used for the control of German cockroaches.Objective : Chemical control using pyrethroid, phosphorous and carbamate insecticides is more common.Materials and Methods: In this study, the sensitivity of German cockroaches to Bu Ali Sina, Fatemeh Al-Zahra and Zare hospitals in relation to cyprermethrin insecticide was investigated by topical application.Results: The LD50 of cypromethrin insecticides in the hospitals of Bou Ali, Fatemeh Alzahra, Zare and sensitive population were 63.20, 76.50, 90.87, respectively.Conclusion: The studied insecticides can still be used to control German cockroaches in Fatima Alzahra Hospital in Sari. In Zare and Boali hospitals, cypromethrin and fenitrothion can also be used to control cockroaches, respectively, and in Boali, other insecticides should be used.
