چکیده مقاله:

In this work, we report the fabrication of a polymer-based material suitable for use as a supercapacitor electrode. The backbone of the structure is polypyrrole, well-known for its satisfactory flexibility, and relatively high conductivity of about 200 S/m. The conductivity of polypyrrole can be enhanced by introducing conducting nanostructures, compatible with the polymer structure. MXene nanosheets are suitable candidates due to their high conductivity, high compatibility with the polypyrrole structure, and hydrophilicity. The hydrophilicity of MXene nanosheets leads to proper dispersion in water, and the feasibility of treating polypyrrole in water-based solutions is the key feature to facilitate the synthesis of the polymer-based composite. Such electrode is expected to have improved redox properties.
