چکیده مقاله:
This paper deals with increasing the critical buckling load of plates by using actuator piezoelectric patches in different boundary conditions. A smart structures system is proposed to enhance the buckling load of the plate by gluing perfectly piezoelectric patches to its top and bottom surfaces, which has been given with the range of 0 – 80 volt. Piezoelectric actuators developed on plate to cover it from zero area to full surface. To show the performance of the models, different types of boundary conditions have been used which called: clamp-clamp, clamp-free, clamp-simply support and simply support-simply support. To optimize the best location of patches to earn the maximum critical load, particle swarm algorithm optimization is used. The results for each boundary condition are presented and results are validated with previous paper.
