چکیده مقاله:

A numerical model has been developed to predict the forced convective heat transfer and friction factor for laminar fluid flow in rectangular microchannel with two opposite roughened surfaces. H2 thermal boundary condition was applied on all walls. Rectangular, triangular and sinusoidal roughness shape with different geometrical characteristics such as relative roughness, roughness width to height ratio, roughness pitch to height ratio and channel separation was investigated in terms of Nusselt number and friction factor. As expected roughness shape influence on behavior of geometrical characteristics. A set of data has been generated that can help to predict thermal behavior and pressure drop resulting from changes in geometrical shape and features of roughness.
