It is known that Atherosclerosis disease can lead to narrowing of human arteries over time. In this study, the flow field in the left main coronary artery is studied numerically using the real boundary conditions and effect of different activities on the risk of Atherosclerosis disease is investigated. The obtained results are compared with the previous numerical results for specific condition and acceptable trend is observed. For solution, the normal heart cycle is considered 0.8 s and the effect of high activities is investigated on the artery’s parameters. The blood fluid is considered as a non-Newtonian and incompressible fluid in the numerical simulations. In this study, it is investigated that having exercise can reduce the risk of Atherosclerosis disease to a great extent. Wall shear stress is one of the parameters that shows specific reaction to high activity with respect to the other hemodynamic parameters. This parameter increased by 154.4 % for high activity with respect to normal activity.
